JDBµç×Ó’s metal cutting innovations were proudly on display at the company’s global Technology Center in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, for a two-day event with nearly 200 employees in attendance.
The Metal Cutting Tour Truck was on campus for the event, fresh off the first leg of its successful tour across North America, allowing employees access to the state-of-the-art, custom truck that features interactive, cross-industry tooling displays. Modeled off of the EMEA Road Show, the Metal Cutting Tour Truck made nearly 50 stops with customers, at technical and trade schools and distribution partners across the United States starting in early 2024.
More than 20 board members of the Industrial Board of The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre attended the Innovation Days to learn more about industry-specific tooling, solutions and overall services, the latest innovations to come out of JDBµç×Ó and more.
The event also included a volunteer opportunity for employees hosted by the JDBµç×Ó Foundation where employees for community center in Pittsburgh. The event illustrated the foundation’s commitment to supporting educational programs related to various areas of manufacturing, and the kits will help a younger audience explore real-world applications of science.
